I have been hard at work this session of school with American Literature and Game Design and Game Play. This has easily been the most difficult session yet at the Art Institute and probably the hardest I have worked in school for a long time. I have a feeling it won't get much easier from here but I am not going to lose hope. This update will be short and concise because I am going to hit the hay in 5 minutes. Now for some good news!
Games: I bought a PS3!!!! YAY!!!! I bought it at Walmart during their Blu-ray sale, which consisted of me buying the 40gig PS3 for $399.00 and getting a free $100 gift card. I immediately jumped on this deal and decided I was going to pick up Metal Gear Solid 4. You may ask why I didn't just get the 80gig Bundle with MGS4. The quick and easy answer is that they were sold out of them in a 100 mile radius from my house as well as online. I decided I won't open it until my classes are over which is after 2 more assignments due today.
I have also been playing quite a bit of World of Warcraft in my spare time. This isn't news to most people reading this but I just felt like making this a full update. That is pretty much it for games.
Music: Buy the new Disturbed CD if you like rock at all. There are a few ho-hum songs on the album but that is just like any album (except for "Whose Next"). There are some really killer songs on the CD that you just can't help but connect with like 'Indestructible' and 'Inside the Fire'. I have been listening to some real oldies lately including some "Blizzard of Ozz" and "Nude & Rude - The Best of Iggy Pop." Not much else in the music department.
Movies: Quick movie updates! "Indiana Jones" wasn't really great or good for that matter. "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" was actually surprisingly decent which I didn't really expect. "Iron Man", "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", "Speed Racer", and the new "Incredible Hulk" are all must see movies, seriously go watch them now if they are still in theaters.
Well that is pretty much it for now. I have a month off starting tonight after my final homework assignments are turned in and lasting from June 14 to July 14th.
