This morning sucked

So this morning I woke up and I immediately wanted to play some Call of Duty 4. Of course my internet wouldn't have that and it remained to be down for quite awhile. I then looked around for my psp and found it near my bed and then I remembered I fell asleep with it on my bed still on. So I was screwed because I had to either play tethered to a wall or wait for it to charge; I chose to charge it. I then watched Die Hard 2 in HD, it was great =D. Soon after eating lunch I reset my modem and router, still no internet.
Went through my games and thought I would play some Rock Band. I was playing some quickplay drums and soon felt the pedal loosening and flexing a little more than normal. I quickly stopped and looked at it and it is on the brink of cracking. The whitish plastic wear line that has been there for awhile was going away which I thought was good. Now it's as flexible in that area as ever. I am thinking about buying one of those metal plates to put over it to prevent it from cracking (pictured below). Hopefully it won't break before I actually get around to buying one.















Obviously my internet is working now so I need to get my schoolwork done asap before it goes down again. I will be on COD4 tonight sometime if people are up for some action. My gamertag is on the right (under my info) for those who don't already have it.
